ECG/EKG studies are very easy to handle online since they are of small size. These can be transferred using the following methods. Email Attachments - ECG/EKG studies can be sent as attached files in the emails. Using FTP Accounts - Studies can be uploaded to a hosted space using some FTP clients and same can be downloaded from there by the remote station Using PACS - ECG/EKG studies in JPEG format can be shared using PACS or teleradiology systems.  

Medtronic Introduces New ECG Device

Recently, Physio-Control, which is a subsidiary of Medtronic, launched ReadyLink 12-Lead ECG device, which is capable of providing improved care for patients who had heart attack or are at the risk of an attack. It also helps in expanding STEMI systems regionally. Medtronics claims that the device is the first of its kind to have a wide access to chest pain management networks.
